Library: Import Templates Safely

Before Importing

1. Preview the Template

• Check bubble count (aim for <30 bubbles)
• Read descriptions
• Understand the structure

2. Create a Snapshot

Always create a snapshot before importing! This allows easy undo.

• [ ] Create a snapshot named "Before [Template Name] import"

Understanding Collisions

A collision occurs when:

• Template has a bubble with same Type and Title as your project

Example: Both have "User Authentication" feature

Collision Options

1. Ignore: Keep your version, skip template version
2. Create Copy: Add template version with "(copy)" suffix
3. Update Existing: Replace your version with template version

Checklist:

• [ ] Choose appropriate action for each

After Importing

Review Changes

• Check new bubbles
• Verify links make sense
• Adjust priorities if needed

Merge Carefully

• Don't import 3+ templates at once
• Give each import time to integrate

Tip: Prefer smaller, focused templates over large ones!
